SUNTEC

“Rich Smith is a resource that understands service and commitment on large scale projects.

I have worked with Rich Smith for the past 3 years at the Micron project in Boise Idaho. Rich was my most valuable resource / vendor. He was always responding to my 911 emergencies on site by getting materials and equipment to the jobsite usually within 2 hours of my call. He always answered when we needed him. That is unheard of in the construction industry. He listened to the needs of the project and provided solutions that best fit our needs. If I needed training for my employees, Rich would come onsite and train on whatever I needed. Fall Protection, Tool Tethering, Confined Space and Ladder Training are a few of the classes he provided at no charge to Suntec.

Suntec has bonus/performance meetings twice a year, and Rich was always there willing to help. He would provide PA and sound systems as well as raffle and safety awards for giveaways to make it a successful and rewarding experience. Last year’s 2025 Safety Stand Down Week on the Micron project was the best safety week demonstration I have experienced in the last 18 years in the construction industry. He supplied and coordinated all of the food, prizes, gift bags, raffle, hands-on demos, and training for 2100 craft. This included safety, volunteers, logistics, and budget. The general had little expense for the event as Rich covered most of the cost by utilizing his influence with manufacturers and vendors to cover expenses.

Rich has been instrumental in helping Suntec Concrete be safe and successful on the Micron project, and I truly appreciate all the help he has given us. His job site and product knowledge, partnered with his “Can Do” attitude are why we partner with Rich and his team. ”
